hi mate

the Asus striker II extreme is a atx form factor motherboard so we need to take this into consideration when buying a pc case

as for a unusual case theres quite a few decent cases around for example the Thermaltake Soprano (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> a nice case with loads of room for upgrades and a excellent silver finish, very well built for the price, and its also avalible in black aswell(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a>

the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> probally the most popular case ever sold, very popular with gamers and also has in my opinion the best cooling set up in any case around, real excellent case

if you like a bargain then the 4in1 MIDI Tower(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> with case, keyboard, mouse and also speakers, all this for under 拢30,and the case has bubble lights down both sides and a perspex side panel with built in fan,and also has space for front and rear 80mm fans

my final recommendation is the Alpine EZ Cool Midi Black EC-7103H(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> makes your p.c look like a power pc with this awesome case, its very similar to the apple g5 power mac,and has a good all round design,my favourite, and the price(拢40) need i say more ?

any problems let me know

good luck mate !Where can i get unusual Desktop cases for this motherboard?
I second Newegg or Tigerdirect.

A bit of help with manufacturers though.

Aspire has the most ';gamer'; cases you'll see. However, the quality is kind of shoddy, at least with the ones I've seen.

Thermaltake has good cases (I have a Thermaltake Tsunami myself), but don't buy other cooling from them (self contained water cooling, heatsinks or anything).

Lian Li is kind of simplistic on the outside, expensive, but of very good quality. If you look for PC modding projects, a lot of people buy Lian Li cases and carve into them to make them their own. Bit-tech.net has an entire modding section. I'd venture to guess 40% of the case mods use Lian Li. The next 40% use Cooler Master. The Cosmos and Stacker are pretty popular. Again, expensive for the most part.

The most popular case you'll see is the Antec Ninehundred, though the P180 is pretty popular also. They're cheaper since they're ';mid-sized'; cases, but still look decent. If you find yourself looking for those, check out NZXT also. They're pretty comparable and it's something other than the Antec Ninehundred.
Raidmax Smilodon or Enermax Uber Chakra.

EDIT: BTW, I agree with the guy further down who said Lian Li...although they are a bit quirky. Thermaltake makes some great boxs (I have two...Soprano RS and LanBox Lite). Also, you might want to consider Rosewill (they build some good stuff and don't charge a lot). Cooler Master, ASUS...oh just a whole bunch.

Anyway, check out the 5-egg choices in the Computer Cases section of NewEgg.com.
http://newegg.com

or

http://tigerdirect.com

the first has quick shipping and better customer service, but the second is a little bit cheaper. Personally, I go with newegg.
go to a computer fair to see the choices
