Does any one know any history about vintage make up cases?When they stopped making them...im guessing 50s?

I found this old make up case that has is very decrative. When i found it ,it still had the powder inside. I tried looking it up online but only found websites that sold vintage compacts but no history at all. ';Vintage'; is kind of a broad word and does not really describe a particular period. You can have a particular radio that was made in the 80's that could still be described as ';vintage'; which really means that it is authentic. Go to kovels.com and you may be able to find the case and get an idea of what it is worth.
