Does any one know any history about vintage make up cases? When they stopped making them...im guessing 50s?

I found this old make up case that has is very decrative. When i found it ,it still had the powder inside. I tried looking it up online but only found websites that sold vintage compacts but no history at all. Any one have ideas?Does any one know any history about vintage make up cases? When they stopped making them...im guessing 50s?

';Vintage'; is kind of a broad word and does not really describe a particular period. You can have a particular radio that was made in the 80's that could still be described as ';vintage'; which really means that it is authentic. Go to kovels.com and you may be able to find the case and get an idea of what it is worth.
