Does the medical profession still perform lobotomies for extreme cases?

Lobotomy had its days between 1930 and early 1960.Advent of anti depressants and potent antipsychotics replaced them entirely But even now in extreme cases of obsessive compulsive neurosis rarely they do lobotomy in Wales and Dundee hospitals.But they do it under strict rules overseen by ethical groups.Does the medical profession still perform lobotomies for extreme cases?
IF they dont they really should start again...
