It's a followup question of my prevpious enquiry.Why endometriosis develops and what sort of cases are predisposed to it?
No one knows for sure what causes this disease. One theory is that during menstruation some of the menstrual tissue backs up through the fallopian tubes into the abdomen, where it implants and grows. Another theory suggests that endometriosis may be genetic, or runs in families.

I have endometriosis and have had 2 surgeries for it. Doctors still aren't positive why or how it develops. I do know that it is hereditary. My personal opinion is that we eat too many preservatives and crap. Not that I'm not guilty!
