How do *you* find comfort in knowing death is inevitable, and in some cases imminent?

I act like ill never die.How do *you* find comfort in knowing death is inevitable, and in some cases imminent?
Hi Zipmac,

I look at death as a start of something rather than the end of something. Since death is inevitable, it is better to focus on your living rather than your dying. We are meant to enjoy our lives and are designed to sustain anything that happens in our lives. You know the saying - humans do not come with manuals? That is because we have a ';help'; button in our DNA that most of us forget to use. We are nature's greatest miracle and we continue to forget this fact. If you believe in an afterlife, then you are set - you will have another chance to live a better life. However, if you do not believe in the afterlife, then truly focus on your present life and make it as enjoyable as possible. I believe in the ';50/50 Rule'; - every decision crossroad we come to is a 50/50 chance and even in Poker, those are good odds! So, I choose to believe in the afterlife - it doesn't cost me anything and I can be certain that death is really a new beginning! Best Wishes! How do *you* find comfort in knowing death is inevitable, and in some cases imminent?
I will put it to you this way...no living thing on this planet gets out of here alive, that's is a fact and the absolute truth.

Additionally, when you accept death as inevitable, which you must, then there is comfort and expansion in life and this is where you want to be.

Now start living !
i'd like to think that i'm certainly in the minority when i say i've accepted it and welcome it. Granted i deal with issues, i'm looking forward to my demise. It doesn't bother me at all. The only time it scares me is when it relates to one of my best friends. He is morbidly obese, and every day, i am so scared that i'm going to get a call that says he died of a heart attack.
i DO find comfort in knowing that death is inevitable. it's the one thing that is sure. knowing it is ahead of me, gives me peace. this life is only temporary. the pain, the suffering is just a fraction of infinity. (and yes, i'm a believer) so to me, the best is yet to come!
instead of discomfort this point gives me power while doing things which people call harmful, like rashing the road with my bike wth high traffic on road i do them coz i know gotto die one day but atleast i died without leaving any feel of life .ya there r lots of feels in our life some r gud some bad but thats for what life is made enjoy them and die
Embrace it. Learning to accept the things you cannot change is a mind over matter and disciplinary issue. Death has its purposes. Like sex, birth, breathing and eating; its necessary.

*you*-Sylvia Plath esque?
Death is inevitable and imminent in ALL cases. Your question is worded as if everyone will find comfort in death. Seriously, how is it that one comes up with a question like this??
well..for me it i tell myself i'll never die because when i die physhically i'll go to heaven because i'm born again.
deny it!
Don't think about it. You'll forget after a while and carry on with life.
God
