Have their been cases of someones hair turning white from fear?

I had a teacher in school who was in the army. He had a bad experience with a bomb. I don't know what happened. His hair turned snow white. His head also shakes. This is true.

Each individual hair is dead material once it leaves the scalp . It can't change color , except by chemical dies . A person's hair turnes white by each individual colored hair falling out , and being replaced by a white one. That happens over a couple of years , It can't happen all at once .Have their been cases of someones hair turning white from fear?
Put simply? NO, never. It cannot happen. Once your hair has left your head it is for all intents and purposes, dead. Therefore no outside interference can alter it.
