This Obama/McCain election has made me feel like rich greedy people are very unpatriotic in most cases.Do You?

Everyone who is rich or greedy isn't unpatriotic but it seems like rich people care more about their money than their fellow citizen that's why they are rich. No. It's called being smart and working your asss off to make a better life for your family and posterity instead of spending it all on crack.This Obama/McCain election has made me feel like rich greedy people are very unpatriotic in most cases.Do You?
It's not really the rich, greedy people who are whining about having to pay more taxes. People who are wealthy understand that tax rates fluctuate, and they have lawyers and accountants to deal with it.





The people who scream about it are the ';Joe the Plumbers'; of the world who dream about someday being rich. Most of them (like Joe) live in a fantasy world and the thought of taxes going up in that fantasy world really bugs them.



There are 2 ways to get rich. Inheritance isn't ';getting rich,'; your family already was.


1) Getting rich with Government help is the liberal way. Get laws to create interventions that limit people's choices on your behalf. Screw free markets.


2) The only way to get rich in a free market (like Americans advocate) is to serve your fellow man really well. If without force, people voluntarily hand over butt-loads of money, you know you're doing something they like.


Force and fraud can get you something, but not that much unless you have government force to distort the market for you.
Wow is that a broad generalization.





I'm sure I make a lot more money than you. I tithe to my church, donate time and money to various charitable causes, volunteer for the Boy Scouts...

You're right. It shouldn't matter if a business makes a profit. Who would start a business for profit anyway? All of those rich, greedy people can just take their silly jobs overseas! We don't need their jobs! We don't need the 80% of our total tax bill that they pay for!

I just watched Extreme Makeover. A 10 year old boy who has been fighting for his life for six years. Finally got a place to call home. And yea while I watched it I thought of the fat cat bankers, CEOs and wall street bunch and yea I am ashamed of them. If I were in a fox hole under heavy enemy attack I wouldnt want a fat cat banker covering my back.
Your ';rich greedy people'; spend a lot of money so ';their fellow citizens'; can earn a living, or invest the money which also allows ';their fellow citizens'; to earn a living.





So, the ';rich greedy people'; are also ';patriotic.';
What's very unpatriotic is Biden saying that it is our patriotic duty to pay yet MORE taxes!!!!





I will not apologize for getting ahead in life. I give to the charities of MY choice, not the choice of the government!






Palin proved that, with the ';Real America'; talk. She can't even relate...not with a tanning bed in her house. She only cares about the ';Real America'; which are the red states, of course.
