there are apparently 12 cases of swine flu at my school and they say they are not closing it down unless so many teacher get it that we don't have enough to be taught.How many cases of swine flu does a secondary school need to have before it gets shut down?
12 cases are already too much...
The flu is transmitted by touch, you touch a surface that has been infected by someone else, then touch your face such as your mouth, your nose or your eyes and presto, you have the flu, a mask isn't going to prevent that. In fact, if you have infected hands and take the mask off or put it on, you will still get the flu. The best preventative measures are to wash your hands frequently, and NEVER ever touch your face without first washing your hands. Not even to rub an itchy nose, which is a pretty automatic gesture, so you have to be very aware of your hands and what you do with them.
so H1N1 (Swine flu) swine flu is something to be worried about!
so better be careful and also be be prepared if you catch H1N1 (Swine flu)!
in that case TAMIFLU is a good (probably the best) product that fights
against H1N1 (Swine flu) and other types (H5N1, H3N2, and H1N2 virus)!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TAMIFLU but I do know that you should read more about the product here:

Swine flu cases in the U.S. doubled to 40 and Mexico’s toll of flu-related deaths reached as many as 149. World Health Organization declares “Public Health Emergency Of International Concern”. How long will we wait before we decide it’s time to protect our family?
Already, U.S. officials are urging that nonessential travel to Mexico be avoided, the European Union has told travelers to avoid outbreak areas, and Australia, Japan, Singapore and South Korea are screening air passengers.
How many more people have to die before we start taking the Bird %26amp; Swine Flu seriously? Tamiflu can save our life if we should be infected by the H5N1, H1N1, H3N2, and H1N2 virus.How many cases of swine flu does a secondary school need to have before it gets shut down?
So to answer your question, they probably will not shut down the school. It sounds really scary but honestly, don't be too alarmed.
The current strain of swine flu in the US is much milder than the strain that occurred earlier in the year. The US CDC is estimating that over 1 million cases have already occurred in the US with the majority in the past few weeks. However it is extremely mild so most people do not think to go to the dr to be tested. In fact, the govt has stopped making positive test reports mandatory because it's so widespread (in the newspaper yesterday).
I can support this with personal experience as I and my two children had conclusive cases. It was probably the quickest flu I've ever had. My son got over it in 6 hours. I got over it in 6 hours. And my daughter got over it in a day and a half. We happened to find out accidentally on a visit to the dr to check out injuries for a fall my son had. The dr decided to swab my daughter and the test came out positive. My immediate response was to laugh because I've had worse colds! The dr agreed and said the media was making it sound deadly and causing widewpread panic. We were the 5th case the dr had tested positive in that day alone and she smiled and said ';I'm not even wearing gloves or a mask; it's not that bad.'; Since then I've met 6 other people who have mentioned an unusually quick fever. I didn't want to alarm them that they probably had swine flu and just didn't know it. :-P
Sound like you already have the answer
';unless so many teacher get it that we don't have enough to be taught';
