Set procedure for Collection Agencies to accept cases?
I am having a dispute with a CPA, who wants to charge me $200 for no useful service. He threatened me to deal via collection agency and affect my credit report. He is going to send me an invoice. I can argue his case in court, as his charge comes without no prior discussion of charges for his services. He pretty much surprised me with his charges saying the services are already done, now you pay $200 for this. I want to stop him to go to collection agency. What should I do? If I reject his invoice with a Certified mail explaining why I dont think the charge is correct, will it hamper his effort to go to collection agency? Okay there is really nothing you can do except dispute it until to comes into a collection agency. Not accepting the invoice will not help. Get it, and keep it. Document your dispute send him by sending letters (certified). Also did you sign anything accepting the servies? if so get copies of everything. After he sends you to a collection agency the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) kicks in and there is certain things that must happen.

Your concern is their interfering with your credit history. So here is what you do. GET ARMED! Knowledge is your only weapon. Read the links below.
Send the CPA a letter outlining your objection to the debt, and threaten legal action if any negative reports are discovered on your credit history. NOTE: It is extremely unlikely that he has the ability to get this on your credit history. They do not have reporting rights. If he does somehow manage to do it, you have a wide range of laws to punish him under, including mail fraud.
Now if he gives it to Mr. Collection Agent, don't believe the nonsense that they are looking out for your interest and will ';verify'; your debt first. Their idea of ';verify the debt'; is to call the CPA and ask if you really owe this debt. If he says YES then they come after you. After all, they are in the business of debt collection, and this is how they earn a living.
What you want to do is send a letter to the collection agency demanding that they ';validate'; the debt. The differance is that now Mr. Collection Agent must research your debt, request all copies of contracts, logs, receipts, bills, and anything to do with how the amount you owe was calculate. The numbers are lower than white men targeting white women but it's still odd since white men don't target black women.

In the interest of justice, you must know that the problem of Pedophilia (one aspect of child abuse) is NOT limited to the Roman Catholic Church, but is a problem in MOST organized religions including many Protestant denominations and in Orthodox and Reform Judaism.

Fortunately, that era is past...and now that the dirty little secrets are out in the open we can hope to see more concern, from the churches, for their youngest charges.

Actually, Randy is wrong. ABS is beneficial in almost all situations, unless you are a race car driver on a track with experience in threshold braking. Even in those situations, the newest ABS systems are still a benefit to even the very best drivers.
ABS allows you to maintain control while braking. It does this by keeping the wheels turning when you brake hard. This sounds counterintuitive but it works through the principle of static vs sliding friction. In short, when something starts sliding, it produces less friction then when it is gripping. A sliding wheel can't steer your car. So ABS has two benefits, 1) maximize the friction with the road and thus minimize braking distance and 2) allow you to steer.
IN dry conditions this is just as valuable in wet, because you can STILL LOCK your wheels. The only time that ABS does not perform as well as regular brakes is in deep snow, but Randy is wrong when he says this will damage the system. It won't. And the difference is pretty small, so I would just ignore the button.

Being a member of the European Union requires you to get rid of the death penalty. The UK is a member of the EU so reinstating it would make them lose their status as a member. Really it depends on how the UK feels about being a member. Call me uncivilized but I really feel there are those who deserve only death for their crimes. The death penalty might not reduce the crime rate but it will prevent someone from ever committing a crime again.
Sadly the UK do not have the courage to pass the necessary laws to reinstate the death sentence... Especially as several convictions have been overturned many years after the original trial.

Being a member of the European Union requires you to get rid of the death penalty. The UK is a member of the EU so reinstating it would make them lose their status as a member. Really it depends on how the UK feels about being a member. Call me uncivilized but I really feel there are those who deserve only death for their crimes. The death penalty might not reduce the crime rate but it will prevent someone from ever committing a crime again.
Sadly the UK do not have the courage to pass the necessary laws to reinstate the death sentence... Especially as several convictions have been overturned many years after the original trial.
I am sure that most Brits will agree that there are certain people currently inprisoned who should never, ever be freed - and for our sakes and the prison staff would it not make more sense to release them from their bodies and give their soles the chance to cleanse in the fires of hell, rather than letting them hang around in prison for years planning escape??

No, i am well aware of the atrocities of cases like Baby P, and the murders of a number of young women lately, like the young student, but the law as it stands i am sure will never bring back capital punishment. She was forced against her will to have sex and then to force her to carry her rapists child is just wrong. Also, is it fair to that child? Because when they grow up, they will want to know who daddy is and why mommy can't love them like other mommys love their children. How would anyone tell that kid that they were formed during a horrible, violent, dehumanizing act? That will mess with the kids mind in ways we will never know. Midway for the brass and bullets. You want .310 diameter bullets from Hornady. Also buy a Lee Factory Crimp die and use it. This die alone will tighten groups by 1/2.
I regularly shoot 3 MOA with good handloads of these bullets and using the crimping die with iron sights. Mine is a Chinese SKS with loose tolerances too.
Don't believe that handloading is not worth it for this round.
The best I could ever do with the factory junk is 5 inches on a good day.

A friend of mine(she is nibby-mcnib face) is married to a police officer that was involved with a search for my 14 year old
when she snuck out with friends...then the same child was in a small issue type problem again...both times she called to get MORE details and whenever I talk to her she always has stories about medical calls and who was naked, had hairy legs and total personal details that seem like they should not be shared with her...do police fall under a confidentiality rule. I am in the medical profession and I cannot even say I saw someone walking down the hall.....does anyone know??DO police in cases of medical calls or juvenille issues have any rules about telling details to others?
I agree about contacting Internal Affairs. Her husband seems to do too much talking to his wife about work. It's hard to say who is worse, the husband or wife.
He is definitely not allowed to disclose details regarding either one of the issues or about details regarding most calls or arrests. He could possibly be tampering with evidence that is needed for court or to charge someone with.
She should not be told the names of anyone that he has been sworn to serve and protect.
Anyone in a profession that works with children especially sign a confidentiality agreement. I'm sure you did if you work in the medical profession and I would hope that a police officer would have as well.

The Solicitors on both sides get all medical reports. In my husbands case the two barristers met on several occasions to discuss the case.

My husbands case dragged on for 7 years he accepted the offer although his barrister wanted to take it into court. we felt that he had been through enough over the 7years thats why he just accepted the offer. According to his solicitor it was up to the other side to decide when the case would be taken to court so we weren't prepared to go through anymore waiting.

no, tearing is much more painful than cutting, the fear is that some doctor will cut when it isn't necessary... think logically if you were to tear and cut a piece of paper which way do you have more control of? same thing... but again alot of doctor do the episotomy(i cant spell either) as routine and dont wait to see if tearing is likely... so have a talk with your OB make sure they know you want to avoid them but dont close yourself off, cutting is better than tearing... same with the c-section tell your OB you want to avoid a c-section BUT dont close yourself off to the possibility, it may come to be that it will be in your or your baby's best interest to have a c-section... yes i agree they should be avoided when ever possible but if you end up needing one you should just be thankful the procedure is available, not sorry that you failed to have your baby vaginallyIn what cases do you have to get an epitosomy or however you spell that lol?
they only cut you down there if they feel that you are going to rip more then you need too. I heard that ripping hurts less then cutting but after the cutting hurts less when you are healing up. as for the c-section there are plenty of reasons for them to do it. good luck and hopefully you won't need one
You heard wrong. Most of the times it's safer to get an episiotomy then to let it tear. In the end, if your doctor says you need a c-section, are you really gonna say no?
They'll usually only cut you (episiotomy) if you simply do not have enough room for the baby to get out. Just tell them you'd rather tear if you want.. though its a crock about it hurting less. It hurts just as much and with a tear you may end up with more stitches at it will be ragged and not a straight cut and it might heal a little bumpy due to being ragged. I had a 2nd degree tear -- it wasn't too bad and I didn't have too many stitches so who knows you might luck out.
As far as a cesarean they will only do those if you are in danger or the baby is in danger... for example.. like if the baby's heartrate starts falling, or you are not progessing and your body is stuck and not laboring (if you sit too long you risk infection and fetal death)... so only if its necessary. Sometimes they do cesareans if the baby is WAY too big.. but really most women can deliver a baby up to 10lbs vaginally, sometimes larger depending on how you are built. They will also do a cesarean if your baby does not turn as delivering a breech baby poses severe risk of fetal and maternal injury or death.
Keep an open mind... ALL women do in wanting a nice smooth vaginal delivery... it doesn't always work out that way. What is important in the end is that both you and the baby are alive and healthy.
I had my son 10 days ago and needed an episiotomy. The reason i needed one was because my son dropped really fast and his heart beat went really low and wouldnt come back up so they wanted to get him out fast and getting the episiotomy took 15 minutes off and he was out in 4 pushes...sometimes it's just better for you and the baby..me getting one prevented the use of the vacuum on my son.
The way the doctors put it to me was, an episotomy is easier to stitch than a tear, because it is not jagged like a tear would be. You will still have the same amount of ';pain'; with both(its not really painful at all) but it is easier to deal with when it is a straight line.
They will give you one of these if they think you are not big enough and will tear anyway when giving birth. I had one with my son and never felt a thing because I was so concentrated on delivering him. (I did it naturally)
A c-section is a little trickier...they will do that if you are not dilating, if you have an emergency arise with the baby...or you...or if the baby is in a position where it cannot come out of the birth canal on its own.
In the end you will have a beautiful baby, so I think that is what tides you over if something were to arise!!

They can do certain things to help prevent you from tearing, like having you push slow and using a warm cloth to help loosen the skin so it doesnt tear when stretching, also there are excersizes you can do to improve elasticity of that area. Okay back to the tearing thing, I know a woman who also refused an episiotomy and tore all the way from her vaginal opening to her anus and I highly doubt you want that to happen. I didnt want one either but ended up getting one and it healed within about 4 weeks, oh and BTW they still have to stitch you if you tear. okay now about the C-section. You will only need to have one if the baby appears to be in distress due to labor, this may be caused by a lack of fluid, the cord being around the neck, or if labor just isnt progressing on its own. My son was in distress and I was prepped for the C-section but luckily he decided to come just then and I was able to have him naturally. The important thing to remember is that although you are scared and everything the health of the baby is the most important thing. Oh and anyway the episiotomy is nothing compared to labor...even when it is healing it is only uncomfortable for about the first week. Good luck and congrats!

just letting yourself tear can actually end up hurting you worse in the long run and either way they're going to sew it back up. the point of the epesiotomy is that the cut is straight and clean not ragged and in crooked directions. and also, before getting the epesiotomy they give you a cervical block which is like Novocaine injections during a filling. so you actually won't feel it. you doctor will explain all of this to you though when you get closer to delivery!!

That way there is a clean cut to suture and not a jagged one. Make sure your doctor knows your preferences before you are admitted. Or better yet, use a midwife.
As far as a c-section goes, make sure you are moving around during labor. Do not sit in bed. Babies do not move down. Think about how gravity works. Also, eat. If you deliver with a midwife in a birthing center or at home, you eat. Asking a woman not to eat during labor and delivery is like asking her to run a marathon without eating. Stupid.

The company that issued the policy can contest the payment within those two years. it's more likely for tests to give false negatives than false positives, your hormones may have changed just enough not to register I would trust the positive and see your doctor.

If you have taken the test too soon it may has caused an incorrect reading. I have taken the test before and it showed positive but when I went for an altrasound they couldn't see anything. It ended up being a Ectopic Pregnancy. If yoru unsure, see your doctor. thay will run another test. My doctor doesn't change due dates at that point. They told me at my 20 week scan that the baby was measuring for a due date of 7/7/09, but they are not changing my official due date of 7/12/09. Sunshine I had my LMP the same day as you but my dates have been changed the other way around.
